- Inconel 825 Sheets and Plates
Inconel 825 Sheets and Plates
Inconel 825 is a nickel, chromium and iron alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper and titanium which gives exceptional resistance to many corrosive environments. Titanium oxide is formed in Inconel 825 & it provides resistance to localized attacks like pitting & crevice corrosion.

Properties
The levels of copper and molybdenum enable Inconel 825 sheet and Inconel 825 plate to resist reducing acids and its agents. Chemical configuration of these Alloy 825 Plates and sheet offer great resistance to several corrosive atmospheres, such as crevice corrosion, pitting, stress – corrosion cracking and inter – granular corrosion.

Alloy 825 sheets are used in chemical process vessels, catalytic converters, nuclear fuel reprocessing, radioactive waste handling, and marine exhaust. It is similar to SS 800 but has improved resistance to aqueous corrosion. It also has good resistance in neutral chloride media, stress-corrosion cracking and satisfactory resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.
